We can hardly believe it ourselves, but it's really here. Fermentista - our very first book - will be in stores from April 1. What began as a wild dream turned into months of chopping, cutting, fermenting, tasting, sometimes re-tasting and above all, lots of writing. But we did it: our fermentation book is a fact.

Fermentista is not just another cookbook
It is a collection of everything we have learned, discovered and applied ourselves in recent years. In this book you will discover how to make delicious fermented vegetables in a simple and tasty way. We give you countless healthy and inspiring recipes that you can combine with these nutritious treats.
Of course, we wouldn't be of ourselves if we didn't delve deeper into the health benefits of a balanced diet, focusing on the benefits of fermented vegetables.
We'll also take you into the fascinating world of your gut microbiome and why it's so important. Why fermented foods are not hype, but pure necessity. Why sometimes the difference between a good day and a bad day is simply in your plate. And, of course, we dive into the history of fermentation and how this ancient technique is still indispensable today.

This book is also very personal. We share how we got from our Polish heritage, through a detour in Belgium, back to fermenting. What we learned along the way about nutrition, health and how small daily habits make a big difference.
We are enormously grateful for the wonderful forewords by Servaas Bengé, Pascale Naessens, Siebe Hannosset and Staf Henderickx, who shared their insights on the book.
Want to be among the first to get started with our recipes? Then pre-order your copy now. Not only will you be the first to receive the book, but we also include some nice extras. In stores from April 1 - but you can pre-order it now. We are very curious what you think of it. Will you let us know?
Fermented raw vegetables are deliciously crisp, sour and fresh
They are packed with live probiotics that boost your natural resistance and support your gut microbiome.
We are Marta and Joanna Klejman, Polish twins who have lived in Belgium for many years.
We experienced firsthand what processed food can do to your health. When we discovered how important your gut microbiome is for your energy, mood and immunity, we really felt how much we missed the fermented foods of our childhood in Poland.
We started fermenting again, first at home, later professionally, and the impact on our health was amazing. Today, we lovingly breathe new life into those traditional recipes. At the same time, we are experimenting with new flavors and dishes in which fermented vegetables may play the leading role.
Because not only should it be healthy, it should just be delicious.

The book looks like something to eat! 😋🌶️🥬🍅
I haven't read in it yet, no time today 🙈 but I've already browsed it and I can't wait to get started! It is very inviting and the pictures are beautiful!
