On our way to the \u201cperfect\u201d life, complete with house, garden, tree, kids, we started having health problems that hampered our lives. Until we could do no more. That's when we decided enough was enough. It was time to take control of our health, to discover what was really important. We began a journey of personal development and learned about the gut microbiome and its impact on our health. It wasn't easy at first. We used to always start our meal planning by choosing a piece of meat, followed by potatoes, pasta, rice or bread. Vegetables were seen more as decoration than an essential part of the meal.<\/p>\n<p>But after months of practice, it began to come naturally. What a journey of discovery! We began to really appreciate vegetables, in all their flavors and textures. Today, vegetables are the basis of every meal, from morning to night, and not just one, but two or even three varieties. We feel healthier than ever before, and all thanks to
